Food Geeks Catering & Events is a growing Charlotte-based restaurant group, bringing bold flavors and top-tier hospitality to every plate. With multiple Comfort & Soul Kitchen locations opening and future expansion in the works, we’re looking for passionate team members to grow with us!

We are seeking a Catering Assistant / Prep Cook to join our dynamic team. This role is perfect for a motivated, detail-oriented individual who thrives in a fast-paced kitchen and has a passion for great food. You’ll work closely with our Chef and Catering Sales Manager (CSM) to ensure top-quality catering execution and seamless service.

What You'll Do:

✅ Assist in food preparation and catering execution
 ✅ Maintain portion control and consistency across different cuisines
 ✅ Work independently and efficiently in a fast-paced environment
 ✅ Coordinate with stores to ensure quality and service standards are met
 ✅ Support kitchen operations, from prep work to packing orders for delivery

What We’re Looking For:

✔️ Experience as a prep cook, catering cook, or similar role
 ✔️ Strong knowledge of different cuisines and flavor profiles
 ✔️ Excellent portion control and time management skills
 ✔️ Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
 ✔️ Reliable, team-oriented, and passionate about food
